Lighting Retrofit Project SalesOur client is a leading provider of innovative lighting solutions, specializing in energy-efficient retrofits and design-build projects that transform spaces while reducing environmental impact. They are seeking a Lighting Retrofit Project Sales Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with deep knowledge of lighting systems, retrofit projects, and design-build workflows. The BDM will be responsible for driving project-based sales, cultivating relationships, and delivering tailored lighting solutions. This Role Offers:Comprehensive Benefits Package. Be a key player in driving innovative lighting retrofit and design-build solutions in key markets. Work in a dynamic, flexible role with autonomy to build relationships and drive sales. Opportunities to travel regionally (50-75%) to meet clients and oversee project execution. Access to industry certifications, such as Lighting Certification (LC), with company support. Focus:Identify, develop, and execute lighting retrofit projects, focusing on design-build opportunities . Build strong relationships with end-users, facility managers, engineers, specifiers, and contractors to drive product adoption and obtain specifications. Provide expertise in lighting systems, energy efficiency, and project workflows to customers and stakeholders. Establish and nurture connections in the assigned region, identifying new prospects and expanding market presence. Maintain detailed project information and progress updates throughout the sales cycle. Partner with internal teams to provide insights on product offerings and market trends. Conduct regular in-person meetings and site visits, with travel requirements ranging from 50-75% within the assigned region. Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Skill Set:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical or engineering-related field. Extensive experience in the lighting sector, including a solid track record of three or more years in client-facing sales roles. Proven success in lighting retrofit projects and design-build workflows. Proven ability to excel in cold-calling and building strong relationships with key target audiences. Expertise in lighting systems, retrofits, and energy-efficient solutions. Familiarity with control systems and ability to develop specifications. LC (Lighting Certified) preferred. Experience with design-build contractors or roles focused on energy efficiency. Relationship-driven professionals with flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
