The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the national not-for-profit association established in 1863 & representing over 108,000 veterinarians working in private & corporate practice, government, industry, academia, & uniformed services, is seeking a Program Administrator for ourCouncil on Education (COE) accreditation management platform in our Education & Research Division located in Schaumburg, IL. Structured to work for its members, AVMA acts as a collective voice for its membership & for the profession. Our mission is to lead the profession by advocating for our members & advancing the science & practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal & human health.Reporting to the Associate Director, this newly created position will provide technical & overall operational support for the COE accreditation management platform that supports the accreditation activities of the AVMA COE for DVM & equivalent educational programs. This position serves as the technical liaison between the platform & the COE team & is responsible for the integrity of the information being maintained & also assists in the day-to-day operations of the COE. They will support the AVMA COE staff & volunteers in its overall mission & in the accreditation process, including developing an understanding of accreditation & COE policies & procedures; overseeing the data management & maintenance of the accreditation information within the platform; & working with the COE staff to develop instruments, reports, self-studies & other accreditation instruments in the platform as needed. Also constructs, deploys, & analyzes survey instruments & survey data for various research & information gathering projects; prepares & delivers necessary reports from surveys conducted.To be successful in this role, you must be highly collaborative & passionate about AVMA's mission & veterinary education.
