Back End Developer

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain the backend systems that power our platform. You'll work on core services that handle customer integrations, global logistics, payment systems, and more. Your work will directly support biotech research, helping scientists accelerate their breakthroughs.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain REST APIs to enable smooth integration of DNA sequencing data.Develop backend services to manage our logistics network, coordinating couriers globally.Collaborate with sales and marketing to gather customer insights and improve features.Build and optimize payment systems for billing, invoicing, and product pricing.Qualifications:BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science5+ years of backend development experience.Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.Experience with Python (Flask, Django) and modern development tools.Experience working with AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS) and infrastructure-as-code.
