Our client, a well-known electric vehicle company is urgently looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team hybrid basis in their Irvine, CA locationThis is a 10+ month contract on W2 offering a full benefits package with the potential to extend or convertThis is what you'll do:In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of several features into a designated EV vehicles. Will be your responsibility to engage with the appropriate stakeholders to agree on feature scope, performance and explore potential implementations. Once the feature has been implemented, you'll also be responsible for its verification, validation and sign-off.Communicate with the core stakeholders to identify the required User Stories to be delivered by the system.Derive the appropriate system level requirements (functional and non-functional) to robustly deliver the User StoriesCreation of Simulink functional model for assigned lighting featuresGenerate architectural level decisions to implement the appropriate solutions.Create and maintain the test cases and corresponding test plans to verify and validate the lighting features assigned to youRequirements:5+ years Systems engineering experienceModel Based Systems Engineering (experience modeling using Matlab Simulink) - min 5 years experienceRequirements elicitation and management - min 3 year experienceSystem level validation and verification execution
