Our client, a large non-profit financial institution, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate & Foreclosure Paralegal to join their team! This position is hybrid with 3 days based in their wonderful Manhattan office. The firm offers excellent benefits!Job Responsibilities Review and organize loan files to prepare for referral to outside counselSummarize and index physical and electronic documentsProofread draft documents for completeness and accuracyMaintain loan/legal action status trackerUse ACRIS or other public sites to locate recorded documentsData entry as needed to ensure proper record of electronic loan filesAnalyze foreclosure documents (mortgage agreements, guaranties and title reports)Track and pay invoices for departmentCoordinate, draft, and document Maturity Extension AgreementsPrepare litigation and loan closing packages as neededAssist with loan transactionsConduct closing of participation sales as necessaryProvide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholdersPerform other duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree3 - 5 years of paralegal experienceMust have experience with multi-family commercial loan closings, foreclosures, and mortgagesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsNotary license or willingness to obtain the licenseSalary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 based on experience Gainor provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression), age, national origin, immigration status, marital or familial status, citizenship status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, reproductive health decision making, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic or status protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
