They will assist in the creation of financial plans and recommendations tailored to meet clients' unique needs and goals.Their responsibilities will revolve around researching financial products, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports. Their expertise will help ensure that our clients receive well-informed advice and appropriate financial solutions.The Paraplanner role is integral to the success of MP's Client financial planning practice, as their expertise will allow our financial advisors to provide clients with well-informed and personalized recommendations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Paraplanner - Wakefield, MA Analysis: Analyze investment and insurance products to identify suitable options for clients based on their risk tolerance, financial objectives, and constraints.Financial Modeling: Utilize financial planning software to create accurate and detailed financial models. These models incorporate various factors such as income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and retirement projections to develop comprehensive financial plans.Plan Preparation: Collaborate with financial advisors to develop personalized financial plans for clients. Ensure the plans align with clients' long-term goals, risk profiles, and financial situations.Compliance and Documentation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry. Prepare necessary documentation and reports to comply with regulatory guidelines.Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, clarifying financial recommendations, and updating them on the progress of their financial plans.Team Collaboration: Work closely with financial advisors, administrators, and other professionals within the organization to ensure smooth and efficient operations.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must haves: Experience: Experience supporting Financial Advisors or administrative duties in Wealth Management. eMoney experience required as well as experience supporting multiple partners. Experience in a client facing wealth management role highly preferred.Certifications/Designations: FINRA Series 7& 66, or 7, 63 and 65 required. Life & Health (NY) licensure required.Knowledge/Skill Set: Knowledge of financial planning principals, investment strategies, and risk management. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a face-paced environment. High level of professionalism and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information. Ability to speak and present in-front of a group.Preferred but not required qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.Experience: Experience selling to wealth management clients is a plus. Note: no sales metrics or commission will be part of this role.
