Investment & Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Investment & Financial Planning Analyst to join their team! This position allows for applicants in Clinton, New Jersey or Manhattan, New York.Duties:Provide support to the Service Experience technology team in managing and executing planning objectivesAssist and drive strategy and planning activities, including governance tactics and processes in line with the team's defined operating plan/roadmapMaintain accurate data in technology financial systems and assist with monthly financial reportingIdentify gaps within existing processes and recommend solutions to close themSupport the Planning Lead in maintaining the accuracy of workforce dataDemonstrate familiarity with IT Portfolio Management, including demand/capacity management and Integrated Planning and AnalysisUnderstand the Software/Technology Delivery Life CyclePossess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently in front of peers and senior leadersCapture, transform, and analyze raw data to draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendationsDesired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field-Required5+ years of experience in a similar role-RequiredMust be highly proficient with MS Excel-VLookups, Pivot Tables-will be used daily for reportingFamiliarity with financial management concepts-Accruals and CapitalizationExperience with Apptio is required or similar technology financial management systemsUnderstanding of Agile development practices and tools, such as Jira is preferredBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans401K offered$16.80 - $24.00 (est. hourly)
