Our 10-week internship (May 27th - August 1st) is designed for students looking to make full use of their talents through a hands-on work experience. During your internship, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact on our organization. This paid internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to unleash their creativity, work in an amazing hybrid-friendly office in South End Charlotte, and learn from the Most Loved Sweet Treat Brand. You'll also get the chance to contribute to a sweet group project where you'll create your very own limited time offer collection!The Global Menu Innovation Strategy Intern will support the development process for newproduct initiatives, as well as optimization to current menu platforms, while delivering high quality (and awesome) Krispy Kreme experiences to our consumers. The individual in this position works closely with Senior Brand Manager of Global Menu Innovation Strategy and other key cross-functional partners in support of moving product development projects through the process from ideation to testing (including but not limited to research, scoping,briefing, commercialization, and market testing) ensuring we have strong programs to transition to our broader marketing team for scale-up/launch.A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Works with Senior Brand Manager to convert the innovation vision into a pipeline of compelling concepts and products.Supports planning, organizing, and driving innovation projects from a brand marketer perspective, ensuring engagement, commitment, and risk management of the project against defined objectives.Partners with marketing, consumer insights, and finance to formalize project briefs, rooted in a strong understanding of our brand, coupled with relevant knowledge of our consumer and the market, ultimately supported with business justification.Collaborates with culinary innovation, operations, finance, procurement, manufacturing, analytics, and supply chain to ensure conceptual products/programs can be translated consistently with operational excellence.YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS: Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Marketing, Business Management, Communication, or similar areas of studyStrong communication skills (written and oral), with attention to detail Exceptional project management and organizational skillsAbility to effectively multi-task, manage numerous projects, and adapt to shifting prioritiesExcellent time management and organization skills Ability to engage and work with cross-functional partners across the organization Self-motivated with an innovative, can-do spirit; always ready to lead and to learnProactive, results driven, and detail orientedAbility to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment.And of course.........LOVE DOUGHNUTS!WHY KRISPY KREME?At Krispy Kreme, we focus on Loving Our People, Communities, and Planet.Loving Our People:Our global culture is best captured by our Leadership Mix, a dozen behaviors that define how we work with one another across the world and give back to our communities.
