Company: Client of Insight GlobalLocation: Atlanta, GA - 3x week onsite Duration: 12 month contract with opportunity to extend or convertSummary:The POS Systems Administrator will sit on the Tier 4 team and serve as the highest point of escalation for their Qu and Aloha platforms. Tier 4 consists of 12 other skilled systems administrators responsible for configurations and programming inside the Qu and Aloha POS systems. This role will maintains the Point of Sale (POS) database to ensure accurate and timely pricing of menu items, setting up promotional items, and configuring the loyalty program. This position maintains product pricing and recipe information, tests database changes, and performs the distribution of changes to the stores, bakeries, and restaurants (SBRs). This position performs database requests (e.g., adding/modifying items, updating pricing, adding/removing functionality, etc.).Preferred Skillset:2-4 years, POS software and menu management; Qu POS or Aloha experience REQUIRED.Configuring and programming within the Qu platform OR Expert level configuration/programming experience with the Aloha platform.Experience supporting corporate information technology environments, preferably with help desk, technology call center, troubleshooting, and/or user hardware and software support, Pref Ability to install and set up a POS lab environment, maintain the database, and test the database/software changes.Working knowledge of the interdependencies between/across businesses to proactively identify risks/issues that could have an impact on business results.Ability to manipulate and analyze raw data and condense data findings into concise, easy-to-understand charts and/or presentations.Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support.Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies.Ability to analyze and organize information and to create effective and accurate documentation and reports.Plusses: 2-4 years, experience with online ordering platforms; OLO and ezCater preferredExperience managing a ticketing platform - preferably JiraResponsibilities:POS Database and SystemsInstalls and configures routine enterprise application activities, data warehousing, database backups, interfaces and configuration builds.Performs POS programming tasks (e.g., adding/removing functionality, updating prices and taxes, adding and removing items, configuring discounts, loyalty rewards, and promotions, maintains architecture for improved performance and proper reporting, etc.).Conducts configuration, programming, and testing of POS systems and back office software according to change management standards and established requirements.Develops procedures, streamlines current practices, applies established protocol for managing configuration changes, implements pricing updates, and executes software upgrades across brands.Performs scheduling routines and inventory of systems programming tasks, including creation and maintenance of security, user hierarchy, ingredients, user accounts, SBR locations, recipes, order guides, and products.Defines, establishes, and implements best practices and procedures for POS, back office operations, online integrations and loyalty platforms (e.g., menu management, new items, coupons, redemptions, etc.).Gathers, records, tracks, and updates the POS database though maintenance request and routinely tests POS database changes for approval by operations, marketing & R&D before distribution to the SBRs.Maintains existing and legacy POS and back office systems to ensure cohesion across the brands.Validates POS training materials for accuracy in terminology and functionality.Collaborative PartnershipsManages third-party vendor database integrations implemented across brandsServes as technical lead for POS integrated enterprise software to support IT projects.Evaluates and pilots new technologies supporting innovation and future developments.Collaborates with the Brand Operations team on systems modifications to ensure business continuity.Serves as liaison between departments to bridge the gap between technical and operational elements.IT Technical Support and Customer ServiceResponds, resolves, and records technical issues from SBRs related to changes to the POS database and software changes.Troubleshoots POS and back office problems and collaborates with vendors and other support technicians to resolve support issues.Troubleshoots and solves connectivity issues for consistent data transfer.
