Public Relations Intern

With more than 30 years of experience, we have built a reputation for launching and tipping brands, while placing top-tier broadcasting within print and digital. We represent a compelling roster of clients in business, technology, real estate, finance, luxury consumer products, sustainability, entertainment, health and wellness, social impact, and the nonprofit sector.Position:The RPR Internship Program is a challenging platform in which our interns obtain real work experience while also augmenting their professional development. As an intern, you will be immersed in our collaborative work environment and act as an active contributor to the agency by sharing ideas and opinions, and working together as a team. Out interns work alongside industry experts within a particular practice area and specialty of the company. This is an in-office role; minimum 2-3 days a week, at our Midtown Manhattan office.Responsibilities:Compile contact and media listsResearch and market analysisAssist with writing press releases and other materialsReview and edit documents as neededCreate article clippingsCompile reportsAssist with scheduling eventsSupport the team with client needs Qualifications:Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in business/public relations/communications or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsTime management skills and the ability to prioritize workloadGoal-oriented and self-motivated with a commitment to learningSolid understanding of public relationsPrevious PR internship experience a plusAvailable to intern in the office, located in New York City, minimum of 2-3 days/weekIntern Payment:This is an unpaid internship.
