Senior Interior Designer

Must have experience in interior design, along with project management, new construction, and renovation experience. The ideal candidate is confident, a team player, and has a passion for well thought-through design. Responsibilities include initial project lead meetings, site surveys, concept development, collaboration with the design & architecture team, FF&E specification, project management, client meetings, communication with vendors, contractors, and clients. Must be able to draft & oversee the development of technical drawings for furniture plans, custom millwork, custom furniture, tile layouts, plumbing locations, etc.QualificationsMinimum 7 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in interior designProject management, new construction, and renovation experienceExcellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, fun environmentStrong organization & time management skillsA team player with a willingness to learn & guide junior members of the teamStrong communication/interpersonal skillsSelf-starter who can work independentlyProficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Photoshop, Sketchup, & the Microsoft SuiteKnowledge of high-end furniture, finishes, materials, and fabricatorsJob ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day operations for ongoing projectsManage multiple high-end residential interior design projects from conception to completionOversee all phases of each project, including conceptual design to construction administration to installationsAssist in scheduling, preparing, and leading design meetings with clientsCollaborate with and manage communications with architects, contractors, workrooms, fabricators, artisans, and clientsDevelop furniture plans, renderings, technical drawings for custom millwork, custom furniture, tile layouts, and plumbing locationsResearch, design, selection, specification, & documentation of furniture, fixtures, lighting, finishes, millwork, etc.Ensure project deliverables are met & the project remains on schedule and on budgetCoordination of timelines, order deliveries, and installationsLead client meetings
