The role of Business Manager is a multifaceted position that requires a versatile and driven individual to support the efficient operation of the business. This role involves providing support to Aries leadership team, preparing internal communications, assisting human resource functions, and contributing to various business initiatives.Key Responsibilities and Important DutiesExecutive Assistance & Project ManagementAct as admin and manage the Aries travel software, provide administrative support to senior management, as requested. This may include calendar management, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports. Assist in the preparation and drafting of presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings and presentations, and internal communication strategies to ensure effective communication across the organization.Assist in sourcing and drafting content for Aries' monthly internal newsletter, ensuring timely updates and alignment with company initiatives and messaging.Provide administrative support for marketing projects, including data sourcing and entry tasks, maintaining content calendars, and assisting with event/conference planning and promotional activities.Manage special projects and initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports to support decision-making and strategic planning efforts.Pull and compile data from social media platforms to support reporting needs and maintain accurate records for performance tracking.Human Resource AssistanceAssist the Director of Human Resources with special projects pertaining to employee engagement (i.e. company events).Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and conferences, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual setup.Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include anti-harassment training, policy acknowledgements, professional licensure, and certifications.Assist in the preparation of additional sites, including staffing, office coordination and set up, vendor management, etc.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in business administration, communications, human resources, or a related field.Proven experience in administrative support, executive assistance, communications, and human resources.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with communication tools and platforms.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and excellence in all aspects of the role.Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
