We offer a wide gamut of consulting solutions customized to our 450+ clients ranging from Fortune 500/1000 to Start-ups across various verticals like Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Energy, Retail, Telecom, Utilities, Technology, Manufacturing, the Internet, and EngineeringSystems Engineering Manager (DIRECT HIRE) Location: Portland, ORSalary: $125000-$150000/annually Role Specific Responsibilities In The purpose of the Systems Engineering Manager is to drive company value by overseeing the design, development, and integration of complex systems that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.The systems engineering manager has a combined understanding of both systems engineering and best practice management.Systems include the following: Electrical - Industrial control panels, design, build, and supportHydraulic - Industrial hydraulic systems focused on Hydraulic Power Units (HPU's) and supporting equipmentBest practice management includes fostering our company's Wildly Important Goals:WIG #1 Winning New CustomersWIG #2 Finding & Developing Great AssociatesTeam and Talent - Responsible for building and developing a team to support growth of salesCoordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project deliveryDevelop and implement Engineering best practicesMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they ariseEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsManage budget and resource allocation for engineering projectsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team membersConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team membersStay updated on the latest industry trends and technologiesImpeccable communication skillsRequired Qualifications:Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies6+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related disciplineProven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to think strategically and solve complex problemsExperience with budget management and resource allocationFamiliarity with industry standards and compliance requirementsOrganizational skills with experience with project management.
