Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to aerospace manufacturing.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Aerospace Composite Technician to join our team for a large-scale wet layup project. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a composite or aerospace technician and demonstrate proficiency with basic hand tools. Responsibilities:Wet Layup Process: Execute wet layup procedures following engineering specifications and industry standards. Prepare layup materials, including resin and reinforcement fabrics, ensuring proper handling and storage. Composite Assembly:Lay up composite materials into molds, ensuring accurate alignment and placement. Conduct necessary curing processes, monitoring temperature and humidity. Quality Control:Inspect completed components to ensure adherence to quality standards, identifying any defects or inconsistencies. Maintain detailed records of work performed and any deviations from standard processes. Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Utilize basic hand tools and composite-specific equipment (such as vacuum pumps and pressure ovens). Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaboration:Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and improvements.Pay Range - $25-$30/hr3 month contract with potential extensions
