Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Part-Time Tax Manager to join their CPA firm dedicated to serving small business clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and strategy tailored to small businesses, along with excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee preparation and filing of tax returns for small business clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, assisting them in developing strategies that optimize their tax positions.Review and analyze clients' financial statements and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness in tax filings.Stay current with tax laws and regulations affecting small businesses; educate clients on relevant changes and implications.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely and effective communication and support.Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on tax preparation and compliance procedures.Respond to IRS and state tax authority inquiries on behalf of clients as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.A minimum of eight years of experience in tax, preferably within a CPA firm environment.Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance issues affecting small businesses.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.Work Schedule:This is a part-time position with 24 hours week
