Pay Rate range: $75,000.00 - $120,000 per yearHours/Schedule: This is a remote position; however, training will be conducted in Torrance, CA.Monday - Friday 8 am PST - 5 pm PST OR 7 am to 4 pm Job Duties:We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer to support our Sales team by providing technical insights and recommendations on machine tools to efficiently produce high-quality customer parts. This is a remote position; however, training will be conducted in Torrance, CAResponsibilities:Provide phone and email support to customers regarding machine operation and usage.Offer machine and part processing recommendations to optimize production.Perform machine cycle time studies and cost estimates, including labor and tooling.Design work holding and tooling concepts as needed for customer applications.Operate machines and demonstrate their features at trade shows and other events.Oversee machine installation and rigging for trade shows and technology centers.Conduct customer training on machine operations and functions.Execute test cuts to showcase machine capabilities and verify processing concepts.Manage turnkey process development, including statistical part analysis.Travel up to 15% for training, installations, and demonstrations.Qualifications:Hands on experience.Associate's degree or technical certification plus 2+ years of machine tool experience, or 3-5 years in a related role.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.Strong communication skills for interaction with management, customers, and vendors.Experience working both independently and in team environments.Proficiency in building fixtures, tool assembly, and machine leveling.Familiarity with Mazatrol, EIA/G-Code, CAD/CAM, Esprit, or Fusion 360 preferred.Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.Desired Skills and ExperienceSeeking a skilled Application Engineer to support our Sales team by providing technical insights and recommendations on machine tools to efficiently produce high-quality customer parts.Qualifications:Hands on ExperienceAssociate's degree or technical certification plus 2+ years of machine tool experience, or 3-5 years in a related role.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.Strong communication skills for interaction with management, customers, and vendors.Experience working both independently and in team environments.Proficiency in building fixtures, tool assembly, and machine leveling.Familiarity with Mazatrol, EIA/G-Code, CAD/CAM, Esprit, or Fusion 360 preferred.Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
