Regional Operations Manager - Ophthalmology

Job Title: Operations Manager, Ophthalmology - TexasLocation: Texas (Travel Required Between Offices)Reports To: Regional Director of OperationsOPHTHALMOLOGY INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLEJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of 6 ophthalmology offices and 17 providers across Texas. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in healthcare operations, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to ensure efficient practice management while delivering excellent patient care.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee daily operations across six offices, ensuring consistency in processes and quality standards.Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize workflow, increase efficiency, and enhance patient satisfaction.Manage provider schedules to ensure optimal utilization and timely patient care.Team Management:Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff, including performance evaluations, training, and development.Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment to drive staff engagement and retention.Financial Oversight:Monitor budgets, control expenses, and analyze financial performance metrics.Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and implement cost-saving measures.Compliance and Quality Assurance:Ensure all offices adhere to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.Patient Experience:Address patient concerns and ensure resolution to maintain a positive patient experience.Promote patient satisfaction initiatives and ensure timely follow-up on feedback.Operational Reporting:Provide regular reports on key operational metrics to senior leadership.Identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the practices.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (Master's preferred).Experience: 3+ years in a healthcare operations management role, preferably within ophthalmology or a multi-site healthcare organization.Skills:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in practice management systems and EMR software.Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of compliance standards in healthcare, including HIPAA.
