LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Transactional Legal Secretary in San Diego, CA! Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to Corporate and Securities and Real Estate attorneys and paralegalsPrepare, revise, proofread and redline legal documentsPrepare documents and facilitate entity formation (i.e. corporations, LLCs) and general corporate governanceCompose materials such as correspondence, minutes, real estate, and finance documents and general formsCreate, copy, and mail correspondence to clients and various government agenciesFile documents with the Secretary of State, County Recorder, Board of Equalization, Internal Revenue Service, FinCEN, and SEC and State Securities agenciesTrack certified mailings and overnight deliveriesPrepare engagement letters, conflict waivers, run conflicts reports, and submit new matter openingsMaintain attorney calendars and monitor important deadlinesManage, plan, and calendar all conference calls and meetings, including client interfacePerform administrative support functions, such as scanning documents into document management system, e-mailing documents to clients, maintain and update electronic and physical files, prepare and submit check requests, process invoices, and schedule conference rooms etc.Qualifications:A minimum of three years' experience as a Legal Secretary with transactional experience in corporate law, commercial and business transactions, and securities; real estateFamiliarity with federal and state securities filings, Reg D and state securities exemption filingsStrong system skills in document management systems and digital filingProficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, DocuSign, and ExcelAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentialityStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSuperior oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact well with clients, vendors and coworkersAbility to balance competing and changing prioritiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDiligent in meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasksSalary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
