Sanitation Worker

Summary:The main function of a sanitization processor is to ensures bioburden reduction of all manufacturing aids, tools, and equipment in keeping with Microbiology, Regulatory and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare tools received from HVT isolation and final assembly - including washing, cleaning, and wrapping - for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requestsLoad tools and manufacturing aids in the appropriate autoclave and/or oven per specified diagrammed instructions, and initiate equipment cycle for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requestsReview, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history recordsOn time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work periodOther incidental duties: General work area housekeeping and photocopying cycle chartsAdditional Skills:Full understanding of load configurations and autoclave operations for autoclaves used for sanitization of tooling and suppliesBasic computer skills requiredAbility to read, comprehend and speak English, along with good communication skills including giving and receiving feedbackKnowledge of and adherence to Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines, as well as Microbiology standards, as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturingStrict attention to detail and ability to comply with standardsMust be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructionsWork in a Team environment, primarily work within immediate work unit and with other departments as requestedEducation and Experience:H.S. Diploma or equivalent Previous GMP, clean room, medical device experience preferred0-2 years of experience required
