Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney

Our client, a national law firm, is seeking an attorney to join their Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group. The role involves representing creditors' committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in complex bankruptcy matters.Schedule: Hybrid 3/2 and must reside in the following cities only (New York, Parsippany, or Stamford)Billable hours: 1,900Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of bankruptcy cases, ensuring comprehensive representation for clients.Conduct substantive court appearances and represent clients during bankruptcy proceedings.Draft and file essential legal documents, including motions and pleadings.Collaborate with colleagues across offices to develop effective litigation strategies.Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and updates.Engage in legal research and analysis to support case preparation.Participate in client meetings and consultations to assess and address their needs.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2-8 years of relevant experience in bankruptcy law.Active membership in the state bar where the attorney practices.
