We're passionate about building lasting value and have a track record of successfully scaling businesses.Role DescriptionThis is a unpaid hybrid internship role based in Dallas, TX, with majority of time being spent remote. The Private Equity Intern will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the private equity investment process at a growing micro-PE firm. This means you'll be directly involved in a variety of tasks and have the opportunity to make a real impact. Responsibilities include:Financial Modeling: Building and updating LBO, DCF, and operating models.Market Research: Conducting industry research, competitive analysis, and identifying potential acquisition targets.Due Diligence: Assisting with financial, legal, and operational due diligence processes, including analyzing financial statements, reviewing contracts, and participating in site visits.Portfolio Company Support: Supporting portfolio companies with various ad-hoc projects (e.g., financial analysis, market research, operational improvements, strategy).Investment Memo Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.Deal Sourcing: Supporting the deal sourcing process, including research on industries and companies, and creating target lists.This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced investment professionals and develop a strong foundation in private equity, particularly within the dynamic environment of a growing micro-PE firm.Required Qualifications:Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field with a strong academic record.Demonstrated interest in private equity and a strong understanding of financial concepts.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Technically inclined and have a good understanding about utilizing tech softwares and marketing for growth Preferred Qualifications (but not required):Prior internship experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a finance related field.Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook).To Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a resume, cover letter, and a 3-minute Loom video.Resume and Cover Letter Please highlight your relevant experience and explain why you are interested in private equity and Equity Front Capital.Loom Video In your video, please introduce yourself and explain why you would be a good fit for our team.
