Director of Strategic Marketing

We are seeking a highly motivated, technical, and skilled Director of Strategic Marketing to join our team at Powercast Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA. As the Director of Strategic Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's technical marketing strategy and efforts, including trade shows, print, digital media, video production, website management, public relations, and advertising. You will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, driving lead generation, and enhancing our online presence. You will partner with cross-functional core stakeholders across engineering, operations, finance, and field sales and support teams to lead the product direction, facilitate key business decision points, and ultimately capture profitable market share.Primary Responsibilities:Advance our strategic market verticals while researching and identifying new verticals Develop and coordinate marketing collateral such as white papers, customer presentations, and videosCollaborate with the PR agency to ensure accurate and timely distribution of company press releasesManage advertising, trade shows, website content, and social mediaEngage with customers in deep technical discussions to align customer requirements to product definitionsEngage with customers to make them understand architectural and technological differentiations in product offerings versus competitive solutionsEngage with industry partners to evolve and drive a virtuous ecosystemRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldProven experience in technical marketing with the electronics market preferredStrong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including online advertising, social media, SEO, and content creationExcellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insightsStrong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesExperience in trade show management and coordinationFamiliarity with PR practices and media outreachExceptional written and verbal communication skillsCreative mindset with an eye for design and detailWillingness to be hands on with the company's products to understand their functionalityWhat We Offer:Competitive SalaryComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401K MatchingEmployee Stock Option PlanA small, vibrant, and fast moving office environmentAbout Powercast:Powercast Corporation is a fast-growing wireless power technology and product company.
