A successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure to support critical financial operations and ensure company's ability to operate effectively in the competitive financial market. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of network systems to facilitate seamless financial transactions and data flow. Key Responsibilities:Network Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy robust network architectures tailored to meet the specific needs of financial services, ensuring scalability and reliability.Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to maintain optimal throughput and low latency essential for financial applications.Security Management: Implement and manage comprehensive security measures to protect sensitive financial data from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Lead the resolution of network incidents promptly to minimize downtime, maintaining the integrity of financial operations.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and traders, to align network solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Extensive experience in network engineering within the financial services sector, with a deep understanding of low-latency and high-performance networking.Proficiency in network protocols, topologies, and architectures, with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.Strong knowledge of network security practices and experience implementing security measures in a financial environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure financial setting.Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP) are advantageous.Firm benefits include: • Competitive compensation based on experience.• Continuous professional development.• Welcoming, inclusive, fast-paced, collaborative, and invigorating culture.
