OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and highly emotionally intelligent Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing IV Ketamine and Esketamine (Spravato) treatments for patients with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The position is available at all (or one) of our Northern California locations in Corte Madera, Windsor, and Vacaville. The ideal candidate is passionate about the intersection of psychedelic medicine and comprehensive mental health care, with experience in administering IV Ketamine and Esketamine treatments. They possess strong skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and care, and are able to collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary care team. Additionally, they demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Take a look at CIT Clinics co-founder Oli Mittermaier's TEDx talk - Insights from the Frontlines of Psychedelic Medicine (ResponsibilitiesAdminister IV Ketamine infusions and Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray treatmentsConduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs during treatment sessionsAdjust treatment protocols based on patient response and needsCollaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including MDs, CRNAs, RNs, MFTs, Psychedelic Guides, and Integration CoachesProvide patient education on ketamine therapy and potential side effectsMaintain accurate medical records and treatment documentationParticipate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiativesLocationThis position is open for each of our clinic locations.Marin county (Corte Madera)Sonoma county (Windsor)Solano county (Vacaville)The ideal candidate lives within less than 30 minutes drive to the their respective clinic.QualificationsCurrent state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances.Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies.Skilled at placing IVs and managing infusion therapies.Preferred SkillsPsychiatric NP licenseFamiliarity with Spravato REMS programs and FDA guidelines for Spravato administration (see: Spravato Prescribing Information, Spravato Patient Enrollment Form), Spravato Patient Monitoring Form) Experience with psychedelic-assisted therapies and integration practices.Familiarity with standardized mental health assessment tools (e.g. PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5)Trainings and/or certifications in psychedelic medicine (e.g. CIIS, Polaris)SchedulePart-time position in an outpatient clinic setting - initially 1 to 2, 4-hour shifts per week.May require some weekend hours to accommodate patient schedules.CompensationTBD (we are willing to create a compensation package that works for you)
