Business Reporting Manager

We have the largest portfolio in the industry and can meet the highest load testing standards with our intelligent SIGMA load bank control system.POSITION SUMMARY:The Business Reporting Manager will lead analytics, reporting, and data exploration to drive actionable insights and improve decision-making. This role involves monitoring financial and business trends, creating dashboards and reports, and guiding the development of predictive models and analytics solutions.The manager will set goals, manage the business intelligence team, and ensure the accuracy of data and reporting systems. They will translate complex data into actionable insights, streamline processes through automation, and support stakeholder decision-making with clear, impactful analyses.This role is capable of being remote, hybrid, or onsite.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential Functions:Lead reporting, analytics and data exploration and recommend improvements.Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trendsProvide strategic insights into internal and external customer data needs.Contribute to development of models around predictive recommendations, marketing attribution, financial forecasts, etc to support the best decision making within the organization.Provide ongoing status on BI and Analytics led projects.Create, update and edit functional and technical design specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.Responsible for the training and development of team members.Set goals and drive the overall roadmap for the business intelligence reporting team.Support and independently own tasks related to design, development of conversions and interfaces.Guide the team on how to build and maintain dashboards to track product usage and performance.Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting, dashboards and analysis on key business metrics and challenges.Establish operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignments to subordinates.Translate complex analytics tasks into easily consumable outputs to guide data-driven decisions with various stakeholders.Develop consistent approaches and methodologies for data analysis, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies.Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the departmentMaintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracyRegularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughoutAccurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reportsCreate business reports that provide insight into key data pointsCommunicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managersSupport various departments, including operations, marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysisMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Deep knowledge of MS Power BI, Excel, database management and data modelingExpertise in DAX, SQL, and other analytical toolsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesExperience in SAP and other data analysis programsAnalytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reportsDemonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlinesAbility to use SQL and Microsoft Office to create pivot tables, graphs and chartsStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkersExcellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisionsTendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact resultsGeneral knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flowEDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Education:BS in Finance or Accounting; MBA, CPA, CFA preferredSkillsExcellent verbal and writing communication skillsExperience in manufacturing, CPG, retail, pharma preferredExtensive experience working on MS Power BI or another multi-dimensional database/BI/DV tool a pre-requisiteStrong analytical skills and attention to detail with commitment to high-quality work productsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience7+ years of FP&A or other business modeling & analysis experience such as manufacturingKnowledge of SAP or other ERP system a plusCOMPUTER SKILLS:Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint including Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:20 minutes away from Cuyahoga Valley National Park7 minutes away from Topgolf15 minutes away from Bedford ReservationLocal restaurants like Chipotle, Red Robin, Potbelly's Sandwich Shop, Starbucks, and so much more!Fantastic local school system
