We believe that vibrant urban areas and mixed-income communities serve as vital connectors, fostering diversity and economic vitality while revitalizing neighborhoods.The Marketing and Communications Director will be responsible for all aspects of Model Group's marketing and brand management and will act as the marketing and communications point of contact across all departments. This employee will be responsible for strategic initiative planning and annual budget management, as well as managing all internal marketing and graphic design requests, reviewing external communications and marketing content, and will act as project manager of corporate marketing projects. They will oversee all brand awareness initiatives, including building internal brand awareness around the company's mission and values. The ideal candidate will strengthen and grow brand awareness amongst customers, investors and key stakeholders to support corporate strategic goals. This individual must be able to work cooperatively and effectively with multiple departments, vendors and clients, leveraging external resources or utilizing cross-functional resources without direct management over a team. This individual will effectively transition between concurrent projects of varying scale, audience, format and distribution channels.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, recommend and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to the Executive Team that support Model Group's mission and business goals. This includes collaborating with and identifying the needs of internal stakeholders across Model's various business lines, setting clear objectives, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Oversee branding initiatives and approval of external communications and materials, ensuring consistent messaging, design, and values across all marketing channels. This includes public relations and crisis management, as necessary.Recommend and manage annual marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve marketing goals, monitor expenditures, and ensure campaigns are cost-efficient while delivering results. Continue a smooth roll out of Model Group's new brand toolkit, ensuring current materials are brought up to standard and template library is updated as needed.Oversee the operation and maintenance of Model Group's newly launched website and ensure alignment with Model's strategic priorities. Regularly review website analytics, recommending adjustments as necessary. Provide recommendations and oversight for digital marketing, routinely auditing digital advertising and website.Implement and manage process for internal marketing requests, updating existing and creating new materials in alignment with Model Group brand standards as required. For example, oversee process for creating new pitch decks, RFP responses, investor communications, and similar deliverables, including gathering content from multiple departments, and compiling in final presentation format.Refine Model Group's social media strategy - manage future content strategy and external Social Media vendors, as required, setting goals and KPIs and providing directives and feedback.Procure marketing vendors and agency providers, including contract negotiation and management, as required, and oversee ongoing engagement (ex: photographers, videographers, graphic designers, web developers)VALUES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESCommitment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate 5-10 years of applicable experience and will possess strong project management, graphic design, communication, and copy-writing skills.Team-oriented. Committed to working in a collaborative team environment. Must be willing to work with multiple departments and individuals with various work styles.Communication. Superb writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members.Project / Time Management. Developed organizational, planning and time management abilities utilized to solve problems creatively, manage/schedule multiple priorities, and adherence of deadlines.Budgetary Skills.
