Portfolio Analyst

Position: Technology Portfolio AnalystLocation: Clinton, NJ or Manhattan, NY (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)Duration: 12 Months Contract to HireWork schedule hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Job DescriptionThe role of a Technology Portfolio Analyst involves supporting the management, execution, and monitoring of a technology portfolio.Providing support to the Service Experience technology team in managing and executing planning objectives.Assisting and driving strategy and planning activities, including governance tactics and processes in line with the team's defined operating plan/roadmap.Maintaining accurate data in technology financial systems and assisting with monthly financial reporting.Identifying gaps within existing processes and recommending solutions to close them.Supporting the Planning Lead in maintaining accuracy of workforce data.Being familiar with IT Portfolio Management, including demand/capacity management and Integrated Planning and Analysis.Having a good understanding of the Software/Technology Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC/TDLC).Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently in front of peers and senior leaders.Capturing, transforming, and analyzing raw data to draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.Required Skills:5+ years of experience in a similar role-RequiredMust be highly proficient with MS Excel-VLookups, Pivot Tables-will be used daily for reportingFamiliarity with financial management concepts-Accruals and CapitalizationExperience with Apptio is required or similar technology financial management systems-REQUIREDUnderstanding of Agile development practices and tools, such as Jira is preferredBachelor's degree in finance or a related field-Required
