Cutting-Edge Beauty Company Seeks Associate GC/ M&A ...

A high growth, global, independent beauty company, housing numerous, fast growing "it" brands within all categories of beauty and backed by a well-known prestigious private equity firm is looking to bring on an Associate General Counsel who will provide broad-based legal support for M&A transactions, strategic investments, joint ventures and other significant transactions across the company. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel will work closely with the executive and senior management teams on high priority strategic matters to support the company's continued growth, as well as supporting ongoing business operations and day-to-day legal advice. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of M&A and general corporate legal experience, preferably at both a law firm and a multi-national company (consumer products, e-commerce and/or international experience are pluses). Candidates must possess outstanding legal and business acumen, be a team player willing to roll up their sleeves, possess strong interpersonal skills, initiative and proven leadership experience. The ideal candidate is an individual who can work independently, but also collaboratively in cross-functional teams, in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize and manage multiple projects and teams across a variety of legal areas.Compensation will be competitive and will consist a base salary of $225,000-$275,000 and is eligible for participation in a discretionary, annual cash bonus based on individual and company performance, as well as participation in an LTIP plan.
