BEPC is looking for a Senior Adobe ColdFusion Developer in Austin, TX to join our fast-growing team of consultants!W2 Contract: 7 months with opportunities for extensions based on business needs and performance.Pay Range: $94-99/hr. plus we offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits!Schedule: Hybrid position, M-F, 8-5Reference Number: 03753Must reside in Austin, TX!!Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Adobe Senior ColdFusion Developer to support the company in migrating legacy ColdFusion applications to a cloud environment. This role involves working collaboratively with project teams to upgrade, refactor, and secure existing applications while ensuring smooth deployment across environments. The selected Candidate will be required to comply with the company's data security policy.Responsibilities: This developer shall be responsible for executing the completion of an agency project to migrate internally and externally available Adobe ColdFusion applications from a server on our Texas Private Cloud to an Azure server. This work will entail upgrading the applications from ColdFusion version 2016 to a final version of 21 or later, at the agency's discretion. This work shall entail ensuring migration of applications to lower environments and the production environment. This will require ensuring version control of the applications and syncing data connections between the respective environments. Regular change management and security scan processes will be observed for this effort. Migration will require some code refactorization to remediate deprecated code due to version upgrade and potential security vulnerabilities. The developer shall partner with a small agency project team to carry out this work. Other project members shall include, at minimum, a project manager, quality assurance tester, and application development leadership. Any and all development work shall be finally approved by application development leadership to ensure consistent use of coding and security standards and long-term application support. Additional project work may be assigned to this developer, specifically relating to the upgrade of ColdFusion applications in the agency's diverse environments.Required Experience: 8 Required Developing and supporting applications written in Adobe ColdFusion (version 2009 and higher). 8 Required Experience working with a project team to interpret business requirements, user stories, and use cases to determine application functionality needs and derive developer tasks and needed system configuration. 4 Required Experience working with an agile scrum development team to evaluate user stories and size tasks. 4 Required Working with application data in SQL Server databases and Azure Dataverse 2 Required Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining THECB applications, with a focus on Adobe ColdFusion applications connecting to the agency's other infrastructure, including print servers, Active Directory, and identity access management software. 2 Required Demonstrated experience working with applications on the Texas Shared Technology Services platform, leveraging both Texas Private Cloud (DCS) and Public Cloud (Rackspace/Azure) infrastructure. Preferred Experience:2 Preferred Proficient with the Microsoft O365 products, including Microsoft Azure DevOps, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. 2 Preferred Knowledge of the common design practices, standards, and technologies associated with application accessibility (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508).USOPS
