INDUSTRIAL BROKERThe Mohr Partners Chicago Team is looking to add an Industrial Real Estate Broker to bolster our already successful team. Our accomplished team consists of a seasoned team with over 40 years of experience representing national industrial and office tenants across their portfolios. Prior sales experience is preferred. Mohr Partners strictly represents Tenants thus providing a conflict free perspective to our clients which is truly unique in the commercial real estate brokerage industry. This past year our Chicago Team was awarded the honor of "2023 Office of the Year" with two of the top five producers in the company based in our office. We are having another high production year in 2024, even in the midst of a challenging economy. Therefore, we look forward to keep the momentum going and bringing onboard a "go-getter" that will work with our team members to source and win new business on both local and national levels as well as provide assistance on existing clients. Please see below for the job responsibilities and qualifications:Broker Responsibilities Develops both local and portfolio clientele and completes transactions throughout the United StatesDrafts correspondence to prospective clients Secures new and expanding business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling Mohr Corporate services to current client base Learn the Mohr Partners model and perfect your sales pitch for cold calls and emailsCreate lead list of prospective clients to call on utilizing multiple databasesMaintains accurate and up-to-date information in company databases Provides tenants with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values Compiles property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, and status updatesPrepares Request for Proposals (RFP) and advise RFP responses Analyzes data and prepares real estate reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons Gathers and organizes materials necessary for transactions such as commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements Participates and shadows senior brokers in contract negotiations and due diligence Gathers, prepares, and circulates marketing materials Engages in local business community and charitable events, as well as industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts and generating new business Broker Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or universityMinimum 2+ years of work experience requiredReal Estate Salesperson license preferred - will need license to be hiredFreight Brokerage / Sales Experience preferredIntermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite Quick learner that takes direction from othersExcellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers Capacity to effectively present information and confidence to speak in front of groupsRequires knowledge of financial terms and principlesSelf-motivated to complete tasks and procure new businessAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents Competency in solving problems involving several options in situations Decisions made to achieve set results and deadlines
