Russell Tobin is seeking a Lab Technician II for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.Job Title: Lab Technician IILocation: Maplewood, MN (on-site)Job Type: ContractLength: 12-MonthsHours: 7am - 4:30 pm (flexible on start/end time)Pay Rate: $22 - $25 per hourJob Description:Performing a wide range of laboratory tests and experiments on industrial products, following established protocols and proceduresOperating, maintaining, and calibrating multiple pieces of equipment used in the preparation and testing of abrasive samplesPreparing and characterizing samples and resins using prescribed formulations and test methods while adhering to strict safety guidelinesCollecting, analyzing, and interpreting data accurately and efficientlyDocumenting and reporting test results, ensuring accuracy and completenessCollaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testingMaintaining clean equipment and lab space for safe operationRequirements: At least 2 years working in a laboratory setting in a private, public, government, or military environment.Consistent, reliable transportation to this on-site job.Preferred: Strong technical and/or mechanical backgroundExperience with pilot or production manufacturing equipmentFamiliarity with safe chemical handling practicesHands-on, self-starter approachExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Comfort working with equipment user interfaces and Microsoft ExcelGood written and oral communication skillsReliability and consistencyEducation: High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution requiredAssociate, Technical degree, or higher in a relevant science or engineering field (ex.
