Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with a global educational publishing company to hire a data/book request tracker.This is an ongoing, hybrid contract in NYC. You will work ~35 hours/week during business hours. The pay is $30-$35/hr.Job Description: We are seeking a Junior-Mid Level Editorial Support professional with a focus on data management to join our team as a Data/Book Request Tracker. This role will primarily involve managing data related to book requests and supporting editorial processes within our educational publishing company. The ideal candidate will have experience with data management tools, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to producing high-quality work.Overview of Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Create and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track book requests, including details such as title, author, publication status, and delivery deadlines.Generate charts and graphs within Excel to visualize data trends and performance metrics related to book requests.Utilize Adobe Acrobat Pro to create presentation-quality book covers and ensure they are easily readable and visually appealing.Support editorial team by organizing and cataloging incoming book requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.Collaborate closely with team members to prioritize and expedite book requests based on urgency and customer needs.Assist in preparing reports and presentations summarizing book request data and editorial activities for internal stakeholders.Ensure all data and documentation are organized, accessible, and maintained according to company standards.Provide general administrative support to the editorial team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.Job Qualifications/Requirements:Experience creating and editing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and charts, with proficiency in data management functions.Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro to create and modify PDF documents, particularly in designing book covers and layouts.Strong work ethic with a commitment to producing quality work and meeting deadlines.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a high degree of organizational skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and deliver results in a timely fashion.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.Knowledge of or fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
