We have some of the best talent in the industry working for VIMAAN and are looking to fill additional roles across the company in the US and India to grow our work and success in the market!Responsibilities:Oversee all hardware engineering aspects at VIMAANLead and mentor the hardware team, fostering innovation and excellenceSpearhead end-to-end system design, including mechanical, electrical, and optical componentsEstablish and maintain scalable development processes and best practicesManage the end-to-end product lifecycle from cradle to grave from initiating projects and gathering requirements to deploying in customer operations.Develop and manage product functional and design specificationsDrive the design of components and assemblies for warehouse automation systems, including cameras, sensors, lights, compute, and power delivery systemsContribute as a senior designer, providing technical expertise and guidanceRequirements:BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience in commercial, medical, or consumer products considered5+ years of experience developing product mechanical architecture, including thermal, mechanical, optical and electro-mechanical systemsProven track record in managing engineering teams and leading complex projectsExtensive mechanical design and engineering background with demonstrable achievementsStrong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and change managementExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across multiple disciplinesOutstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, and documentation skillsPassion for creating robust and reliable products, with a drive for continuous learning and problem-solvingDemonstrable track record of successful product launches and innovationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in warehouse automation or related industriesFamiliarity with optical systems and sensor integrationKnowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to automation and roboticsExperience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes
