Let's make swimming even more magical together! Job DescriptionTHEMAGIC5 is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team in New York City. Do you have a background in swimming or triathlon and are eager to engage with a vibrant community of swimmers and triathletes? Then we would love to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), creating compelling content, and fostering relationships with our audience and potential ambassadors. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment, likes taking on challenges, and values the opportunity to make a difference. This part-time position requires a hybrid on-site schedule in our Brooklyn, New York office for 15-20h/ week. The hours can be spread throughout Monday-Sunday. Job Responsibilities Community Management: Customer Service Management on all Social platforms: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, Trustpilot, YouTube). Foster meaningful interactions with our audience to build a strong online community. Monitor platforms like Reddit, Trustpilot for comments related to our brand and answer in timely manner Engage and interact with our Facebook Community Group Content Creation & Posting:Collaborate with our Head of Social Media to curate engaging and shareable content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.) tailored to our brand and audience. Create content (images and video) that taps into current trends or campaigns Regularly post and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). Re-post relevant content from ambassadors, partners, and influencers. Engagement & Growth:Monitor trends in swimming and triathlon communities to create timely and relevant posts. Maintain and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions, commenting and engaging the audience. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and take appropriate actions to continuously improve them Ambassador Outreach:Identify and reach out to potential ambassadors and influencers. Maintain relationships with existing brand ambassadors. Qualifications:Strong Experience in social media management, community engagement, or related roles Background in swimming, triathlons, or familiarity with the competitive swimming world is a plus Strong written communication skills and ability to adapt to our brand voice Understanding of data and analytics within Social Media performance metrics Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Enthusiasm and flair for creating engaging, trending swimming content (both images and video) Experience with working in creative programs like Adobe, Canva etc. Access to a swimming pool is a major advantage Previous customer service experience is a plus What We Can OfferBe a part of an ambitious growth company with a flat hierarchy and show off your own skills autonomously.
