Direct the activities of two Project Managers charged with executing subprojects under the programLead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex technology projects within the SDLC, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality features and solutionsDrive alignment of roadmaps while assessing, communicating, and mitigating risks and dependencies across delivery streams and portfoliosUnder the general direction of the Project Management Office, create, manage, and complete a cross-functional program plan composed of sub projects, all to be successfully executed within costs, timelines, and quality by internal resources and third-party development resourcesTeam Leadership:Coordinate with Client' product management, release, IT, marketing, sales, and support teams to create a seamless transition from project initiation to implementation and support, including defining and controlling program and project scope and objectivesManage multiple onshore and offshore Agile development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountabilityEstablishes and build strong working relationships with senior leadership, stakeholders, and resource teams, to ensure the successful delivery of Client products using a wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective waysMetrics and Reporting:Able to demonstrate the progress of the roadmap, program, and projects, and effective use of resources through Earned Value and key delivery gatesUse consistent metrics to assess risks, inform prioritization, and support decision-making processesProvides regular status reports, dashboards, and a regular cadence of meetings to stakeholders and resource teamsQualifications:Experience:8+ years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects with multiple development teams on programs of $5M or aboveStrong technical background, preferably with prior experience in software engineering, DevOps, or IT project management5+ years' experience and deep understanding of the SDLC, Scrum methodologies, and scaled Agile practicesHighly organized with advanced problem-solving skills, expertise w/Excel, MS Office, and Smartsheet (including advanced reports and dashboards in Smartsheet)Advanced abilities at PowerPoint presentations for senior leadershipExpertise at modelling project costs, capacity, hours consumed, budget and Project P/L (using Earned Value Concepts)Expertise at controlling overall program management in Jira, MS Teams and SmartsheetLeadership Skills:Experience managing onshore-offshore delivery models in an Agile environmentDemonstrated ability to drive governance, manage dependencies, and optimize organizational deliveryExceptional communication skills to interact effectively with project sponsors, technical project managers, and cross-functional teams including writing, speaking, presenting, and listening skillsStrong coaching skills to enable senior leadership and resource teams to resolve issues and align program performance with organizational goalsEducation:Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a master's degree; or equivalent experience as a Program Lead on Technology based portfolios PMI PMP or SAFe Certification+ or equivalent Project Management CertificationPreferred Experience:Direct experience with managing freight movement, intermodal transport, or Supply Chain Logistics in addition to experience in software architecture, system integrations, and cloud-based applications within an enterprise SaaS solution
