As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from design to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality.Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in structural steel design and erection. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in managing projects ranging from 50-3,000 tons. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, production, and erection of multiple projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources to ensure timely completionCoordinate with design teams to ensure accurate and efficient design development, including reviewing and approving designs, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulationsCollaborate with production teams to ensure efficient fabrication and delivery of steel componentsOversee the erection process, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, and that the project is completed to the required quality standardsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansIdentify and mitigate potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans as neededCommunicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals and objectives are metConduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocolsReview and approve project documentation, including designs, drawings, and reportsEnsure that all projects are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and industry standardsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is desirable, but we will look at relevant experience in lieu of a degree Minimum 2+ years of experience in structural steel design and erection project managementProven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of structural steel design and erection principles, including relevant codes and regulations (e.g. AISC, AWS, OSHA)Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlinesStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teamsProficiency in project management software, including scheduling and budgeting tools (e.g. Primavera, MS Project, Excel)Familiarity with design and drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) is an assetWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefits packageOpportunity to work on high-profile projects with a leading structural steel design and erection companyCollaborative and dynamic work environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesRecognition and reward for outstanding performance
