This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth, innovation, and success of a mission-driven organization that values passion, integrity, compassion, and dedication.About the Job:The Sr. Human Resources Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting comprehensive HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, worker's compensation and HR compliance. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this position requires a hands-on approach, a strong drive & passion for building, revamping, and streamlining processes, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for all recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and supports adherence with pre-employment screening and new hire training requirements. Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.Utilizes various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events.Collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assists with job description creation/review as needed.In partnership with other HR team members, supports the onboarding processes and ensures a seamless candidate experience for new hires.Leads the internship program and other related initiatives for the company.Serves as a point of contact for general employee inquiries, assists with policy interpretation, handles employee relations professionally, and maintains a positive workplace culture.Assists with investigations, performance review process and training & development initiatives; supports safety/emergency response planning, as needed.Assists with bi-weekly payroll processing, benefits enrollment/administration, Worker's Compensation, leave requests, as needed.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.4+ years of experience in an HR generalist role with strong recruiting/talent acquisition focus.Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment laws.General understanding of benefits plans, such as ACA, COBRA, and ERISA compliance.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent service. Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
