We are looking for a brand director, who will be charged with responsibility for playing a leadership role in the marketing department, directing P&L for Hello Bello's core & new product lines, setting strategic direction to build & grow the business. The primary purpose of this position is to profitably grow sales of Hello Bello's product lines to meet or exceed company goals, in a way that is consistent with cultivating a long-term relationship with Hello Bello's consumers. The brand director is responsible for leading all innovation and marketing efforts, including identifying new product opportunities and the development and execution of brand strategies. The brand director also takes a leadership role among the brand managers, actively managing the culture of the team, identifying opportunities for, and enabling cross-functional collaboration within the company.? Understand Hyland's consumers - present and potential, especially Millennial & Gen Z moms.? Lead and develop marketing strategies to grow market share while driving top line revenue and meeting EBITA goals.? Have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape; define product line strategies, road maps, and business plans for assigned product lines.? Lead consumer research projects, translate consumer insights to development of new product ideas .? Collaborate with Supply Chain, formulator, and CMOs to bring new products to life.? Monitor activities of competitors and industry trends on an ongoing basis; recommend and initiate strategy to maximize market opportunities.? Work closely with the Brand Manager to partner with external agencies and internal creative team to develop creative and comprehensive marketing campaigns to drive retail sales.? Monitor and evaluate new services, technologies, and platforms that can be used for traditional and non-traditional media planning for the product line.? Collaborate with all internal and external partners to maximize all marketing opportunities and ensure successful execution (e.g., public relations, digital media, sponsorships, sampling, influencers, social media, reputation management firm).? Proactively strengthen collaborative relationship with the sales team, communicating/selling in all marketing initiatives and product launches and developing retailer specific programs.? Working with the CMO, ensure that brand initiatives are executed in a manner consistent with Hyland's product portfolio strategy and corporate marketing objectives.? Work closely with e-commerce and DTC teams to ensure brand consistency and maximize marketing campaigns across sales channels.? Mentor and develop Brand Manager(s) on your team.? Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent from a four-year university or technical school; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7 years brand marketing/management experience in a consumer packaged goods business or related experience.? Familiarity with omni-channel marketing including brick & mortar and DTC a plus.? Experience working for small or start-up company or brand a plus; ability to wear multiple hats is a must.? Experience managing and developing direct reports a must.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities? Strategic vision and ability to form partnerships to achieve that vision.? Strong project management skills; ability to multi-task effectively a must.? Demonstrated success in strategy development and execution.? Strong people skills: empathy, presence, a desire to lead and serve.? Familiarity with Nielsen .? Proactive? Resilient? Excel Power user, Advanced PowerPoint, Keynote and/or Prezi skills?
