About the Company We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Maintenance Manager in Corona CA (permanent position) to lead the maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of machinery and automated processes.About the Role You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 maintenance technicians, managing day-to-day operations, and providing technical leadership to ensure all systems are running optimally. Additionally, this role will require hands-on involvement in creating custom parts, automating machines, and assisting with securing necessary permits (e.g., fire, OSHA).ResponsibilitiesSupervise, mentor, and lead a team of 3-4 maintenance personnel to ensure efficient daily operations.Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to ensure the continuous operation of machinery and automated processes.Design, create, and modify custom parts to support machine repairs or improvements.Develop and implement automation solutions for machines to improve operational efficiency and minimize downtime.Oversee the repair and optimization of electrical systems and automated equipment to improve production efficiency.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and fix complex systems.Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions.Assist in acquiring and maintaining necessary permits (e.g., fire, OSHA) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, parts inventory, and system performance data.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical systems and plant operations.Recommend improvements to machinery, systems, and processes to enhance productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience: 5+ years in a maintenance management role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Experience with automated systems and control processes.Proven ability to interpret and work with blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues.Experience in designing, creating, or modifying machine parts for repairs or enhancements.Ability to automate machines and processes to increase efficiency.Knowledge with acquiring and managing industrial permits, including fire and OSHA-related permits.Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to electrical and mechanical systems.Preferred SkillsExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.Project management experience in an engineering or maintenance setting.Leadership experience in mentoring and developing maintenance teams.
