Senior Analyst, Growth MarketingYES Network for the Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment ("G.A.M.E")Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment ("G.A.M.E."), a joint venture of Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network ("YES") and MSG Networks ("MSGN"), is actively seeking a Senior Analyst, Growth Marketing to join their team in the greater NYC area. About G.A.M.E.:G.A.M.E. is a joint venture between YES and MSGN to capitalize on technical and operational synergies associated with YES' and MSGN's streaming services. G.A.M.E. will also offer turn-key digital content distribution services, including platform technology, operational support and comprehensive data analytics to third parties, utilizing the combined technical and operational expertise each company has garnered from the respective successful launch and operation of their streaming services.About the RoleThis Senior Analyst is responsible for fully supporting the Growth Marketing team on all acquisition + retention initiatives related to The Gotham Sports App or any future services that Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment may operate. Primary areas of oversight include producing and monitoring BI reporting that delivers actionable insights of business drivers, marketing efficiency, user engagement, and churn prevention. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Growth Marketing.Duties include: Support customer acquisition through the analysis of paid, earned and owned media effectiveness with an understanding of how these efforts drive downloads, registrations, subscriptions, and CPAs Provide clear and regular analysis of user engagement across touch points such as app navigation, video viewership, interactive games participation, and notification response rates Support customer retention by monitoring trends in subscriber churn, helping to define early indications for propensity to churn, and evaluating the effectiveness of churn mitigation + win-back tactics Advance the reporting of owned channels, most notably Social + LCM, to contextualize performance and glean exploitable insights Lead a/b testing efforts, including hypothesis generation, experiment design, data QA, and post-mortem analysis + documentation, across all phases of a fan's lifecycleDrive audience segmentation, based on business reqs + BI output, to facilitate tailored and effective, 1:1 customer messaging Lead deeper-dive analyses, such as informing pricing/promotional strategies, modeling commercial opportunities (market expansion, new partnerships, etc), and forecasting subscriber + LTV targets (media costs, CVR, retention, etc.).Partner closely with several vendors to maximize value and to ensure recos/guidance provided are in line with our best interests and business reqsPrimary business relationships, other than marketing:Streaming & RSN Leadership "” lead for exec dashboards and reporting RSN Insights "” support insights and narratives that allow advertising sales and brand partnership teams to defend and increase sponsor investmentsProduct formulate impact projections for prioritizing UX enhancementsSocial lead performance analytics + insight extractionIdeal Candidate:4-6 years of professional experience (subscription marketing experience preferred) Robust analytical skillset: ability to extract insights and drive strategy from dashboard building/monitoring and from diving deeper into raw dataExceptional project management: a master in juggling multiple platforms, while still being able to deliver on timelines Strong written and verbal communication skills: ability to share results and recommendations clearly and succinctly, while stringing together the full performance narrative via citing appropriate support in a well formatted way; must be proficient in Excel and PowerPointCurious self-starter: hungry to produce/contribute and never waiting on the sidelines to be told what to do; there's always work to be done and insights to be foundInnovator: passionate about challenging the status quo and a solutions-oriented problem solver with a strong customer focus, comfortable with ambiguity and evolving strategies in an ever-changing environment Prior experience with: analytics + data visualization (Mixpanel), paid media performance (Google, Meta, TTD, etc.), lifecycle marketing, a/b testing + optimization tools, audience segmentation, qualitative surveys + interpretationAdditional Important Information & Offerings:Onsite M-Th; WFH FridaysMedical/Dental/Vision/Life insurance, FSA/HSA, parental leave, transit commuter benefits401k w/ employer match80K-$100Kbase salary Strong team-centric and collaborative company culture environmentAbout G.A.M.E., YES and MSGN:Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment (GAME) was created by two market-leading regional sports networks - YES and MSG Networks - to create turnkey streaming solutions for teams, rightsholders and networks to best deliver and monetize their content through a direct relationship with their fans.
