We are seeking an experienced Construction/Real Estate Project Manager (Bilingual | English & Mandarin) to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in various construction management software. This role requires effective time management and the ability to build strong relationships with contractors, clients, and team members to ensure project success.ResponsibilitiesThis role will dedicate half of their work hours in the field for site and sub-contractors' management and the other half in the office to assist the project managerAssist and coordinate subcontractors, building management, and necessary inspections with project manager and site foremanReport field activities and questions or issues from field team to project manager or design teamOrganize documents and communications to speed up the construction activitiesLead and direct field crews through various tasks as requiredAssist to inspect work in progress ensuring compliance with submittals, and all construction documentsAssist proactive resolution of field conditions and project issuesAssist with the preparation of requests for information and clarification of construction documentsAssist to manage third party and outside consultant inspections of the construction work and the project siteAssist with scheduling permits and inspections throughout the buildout processQualificationsMust be able to read, write, and speak English and MandarinHave a construction background, with project management experienceStrong skills in planning and executing projects that are both new and existingMinimum 5+ years' experience in Construction & Project managementAny combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related subject and 4-6 years field experienceThorough understanding of construction administration processes, including contracts, budgets, construction documents, change orders, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and material procurement10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification is a plus but not requiredBilingual - English and Mandarin requiredPay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) 4% MatchDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceCompensation Package:Performance bonusYearly paySchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Construction/Real Estate Project management: 5 years (Required)Language:Bilingual - English and Mandarin requiredAbility to Commute:Flushing, NY 11355 (Required)Work Location: In person
