Background:TMS is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for all of our Eastern agencies. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in the commercial lighting industry and working with agents. Perks:We do not micromanage and want you to have your own autonomyWe are on the cutting edge of marketing and will give you all the tools you need to look like a rock starWe act quickly and you do not need to go through a ton of channels to get approval for ideasYou are apart of a team, not a corporate machine - we value how important the work you do is for overall growthResponsibilities:Manage and generate profitable top line growth for assigned agenciesStrategically schedule in-person and virtual agency visitsEquip and train agencies on TMS products, policies and promotion programsWork as liaison between agencies and inside sales/quotes to meet customer needsReport voice of customer from territory visits on topics such as products, marketing, pricing, etc.Ensure that travel samples and displays are in good working conditionIdentify and support key agency eventsParticipate in the planning and management of agent and specifier seminars and factory toursDetails:Covering the whole Eastern USA Territory - Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, MaineStarting Pay: apply for more detailsHours: 40 hours/week Monday to Friday + any sales call travelsType: Hybrid. Remote work day-to-day and then traveling the country for sales calls when requiredQualificationsMust have more than 5 years in the lighting industryExperience generating and maintaining relationships with customers and sales leadsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
