Lead Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building systems and maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation of all facility-related equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a safe and functional environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, utilizing knowledge of hydraulics and industrial maintenance practices.Analyze schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement solutions.Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.Engage in technical supervision activities as needed, providing insights on system upgrades or replacements.Execute maintenance tasks as required for repairs or modifications to the building structures.Supervise, Train, and Collaborate with two subordinate engineers and maintenance staff to coordinate projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management promptly.QualificationsProven experience in building engineering or related fields with a strong mechanical knowledge base.Familiarity with low voltage systems is preferred.Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions quickly.Experience with HVAC/R systems is essential; additional knowledge in electrical and plumbing is a plus.Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance management.Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.Certification or training in relevant technical fields is advantageous but not mandatory.Join our team as a Lead Engineer where your expertise will contribute significantly tomaintaining our facilities at the highest standards!Pay Range: $42/hr to $45/hr depending on experience.Job Location: Baldwin Hills Crenshaw PlazaBenefits:401(k)Health InsuranceDental InsurancePaid time offSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayEqual Employment OpportunityServi-Tek is an equal-opportunity employer.
