The Creative Project Manager will work directly with the Marketing, Creative, Sales, Product Management, QC & Regulatory, and Financial & Purchasing teams, plus executive leadership, to ensure that creative work is delivered as requested, to the necessary specifications, on time.As Creative Project Manager, you will focus on collaborating with the team, managing creative deliverables from initiation to flawless execution and delivery. You have a proactive approach that is motivated by curiosity and an eagerness to grow and learn.Responsibilities:Project Management - 60%Manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, acting as the hub between KONG and the KONG creative teamUse Wrike project management tool to open jobs, create schedules, communicate with team regarding jobs, review proofs, manage resources (workload), organize projects, and create schedule blueprintsEnsure project information is up to date, creating and maintaining accurate project schedules (tasks, dates, assignees, revisions/updates, etc.)Understand the status of all project deliverables and closely monitor progress all the way through to deliveryAssess and manage project risks, communicating issues to respective team membersTouch base on project status daily with creative team and keep other departments in the loop as timing and/or needs changeTake initiative to understand, learn, evolve, and use the workflow processPartner with Director, leadership, and teams to maintain the KONG workflow process, educating as opportunities arise, and ensuring team adherence to process requirementsUphold the process, mitigating risk as necessary and instituting quality control measuresKeep team focused on key priorities and deadlines, motivating them to stay positive about project healthHold self and team members accountable to deadlines and project requirementsRespond to requests and communications in a timely and professional mannerSchedule meetings with team members to drive schedules forward as necessary (e.g., kickoffs, touch-bases, brainstorms, prepros, etc.)Partner with eCommerce team to ensure assets are uploaded to Amplifi, working together to populate the tool, filling gaps as needed for images, translations, etc.Act as project management lead on the international segment of the business.Translations Liaison: 40%Act as liaison on all translations with our translation partnersProcure quotes for translation projects and ensure they are within standard expectationsPrepare spreadsheets to include all English copy for handoff to translation company then manage progression of translations through the system and back into KONG teamManage and prepare for Monthly Translations Meeting with translation companyAct as company trainer on the translation processJob Requirements:3-5 years' experience in a related positionExperience in marketing and/or design fieldsCreative mindset with a strong appreciation for design and the creative processPossess a thorough understanding of project management methodologyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and deliver quality resultsAbility to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasksComfortable with project planning tools and concepts such as task dependencies, Gantt charts, and other project management conceptsExhibit excellent verbal and written communication & listening skillsAble to adapt to different personalities and work stylesRelentless attention to detail and exceptionally organizedPositive but assertive attitude with the ability to remain effective in highly stressful, ambiguous, or pressure-laden situationsUnderstand graphic design, pre-press, and production processesInspire excellence and leadership by setting a good example for the teamTake ownership and accountability of personal job responsibilities and mistakes/problemsExamine and evaluate actions before deciding or actingDemonstrate proper business maturity across a variety of situations while showing integrity, common sense, and responsible behaviorThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.CompensationFrom $65,000 annuallyQuarterly profit sharingWork LocationKONG Headquarters - Golden, ColoradoOnsite Monday through FridayBenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance with low-cost premiumsAccess to voluntary benefitsEmployer paid short-term/long term disability and life insurance401k with employer matching12 Paid HolidaysPersonal Leave AccrualPet Insurance, Tuition reimbursement, dog toys, and more!
