Chief Technology Officer (CTO)Position OverviewOur client, a national leader in the home healthcare industry, is seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technological strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for driving the organization's vision for technology, ensuring the development of scalable, reliable, and secure solutions to meet both current and future needs. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will oversee all technical operations, including engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, to deliver impactful solutions to both stakeholders and franchisees. The ideal candidate will have a background in custom software development and extensive experience within the Microsoft tech stack. Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder EngagementBuild relationships with leadership, franchise teams, and vendors to align technology with business goals.Lead change management efforts for IT projects and engage with users to improve operational efficiency and satisfaction.Serve as the main point of contact for technology updates and represent the organization at industry events.Product LeadershipDevelop a 3-year roadmap for proprietary software and data systems aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with product teams to enhance quality, scalability, and user experience using data-driven insights.Technical LeadershipMaintain a 2-year technical roadmap to drive innovation and scalability.Establish technical standards and mentor engineering leaders to foster a collaborative, results-driven culture.Oversee platform and application design to support business growth and stay ahead of technology trends.Strategic PlanningDefine long-term technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives.Implement innovative solutions to create competitive advantages and measure progress through KPIs.Infrastructure ManagementOversee IT and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.Optimize systems integration and proactively address infrastructure issues.Cybersecurity and ComplianceDevelop and enforce cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA.Conduct security audits and foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness.Budget and Resource ManagementManage the technology budget and allocate resources effectively to support strategic and operational needs.Forecast staffing and infrastructure requirements, negotiating vendor contracts for cost-effective solutions.Travel ExpectationsThis role is hybrid with occasional in-office days per month required at the corporate headquarters in Bannockburn, Illinois. Additional travel may include leadership meetings, franchise visits, industry events, and vendor engagements.
