We examine all applications based on equal skills and applying the principles of non-discrimination.ROLEAkur8 is one of the P&C insurance industry's leading insurtech companies, as well as being one of the foremost developers of innovative cloud-based and machine learning solutions for both actuaries and other sophisticated analysts.Our Actuarial Reserving Specialists are responsible for providing expert support and driving process modernization for clients using our proprietary insurance reserving software, Arius.The role involves helping our industry leading clients to implement Arius into their operational workflow - including understanding their data, processes, and reporting requirements - and then training them on the use of our solution once it has been implemented.Playing an integral role in helping clients understand and resolve issues related to their use of our tools, the Actuarial Reserving Specialist enables our clients to optimise their use of them.Key responsibilities of this role will include the following:Client relationship management: Building strong relationships with clients and partners, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives and offering strategic guidance using our reserving solutions.Client satisfaction: Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or concerns clients may have using our solutions, therefore reducing the risk of product churn. Leveraging strong relationships with clients to monitor satisfaction levels, and providing timely solutions to ensure continued value and long-term retention.Client advocacy: Serving as advocate of the client within our company, gathering and sharing feedback with the sales and product teams to support ongoing improvementSolution mastery: Demonstrating a solid understanding of accepted insurance finance and actuarial calculations alongside bespoke reserving analysis concepts.
