Construction Project Manager

NYCM Search is teamed up with one of NYC's most elite CM firms focused on high profile projects in NYC for over 5 decades. Our current assignment with them includes exclusive representation on two Project Manager roles, meant to oversee large and complex portions of a massive nearly $3 billion public project. These roles will enter into the Design Build team early in the schematic design phases, and will be a crucial part of planning and delivery of massive packages for the project.Project Manager - GC / CM background, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background. BS and MS degree preferred. Experience with trade management, procurement, and bringing an overall well rounded background in preconstruction and execution. Exposure to large scale electronic security packages would be a huge plus, but any relevant MEP contract management would be helpful. Please have experience running packages over $50 million.Project Manager - GC / CM background, AEC background, BS / BA preferred. Must have trade management, estimating, procurement experience - preconstruction through execution and close out. Again, seeking well rounded Managers who have experience on very large scale projects, and who have taken the lead on contract values over $50 million. Experience with prefab building materials or modular construction is a plus!Both roles require Autodesk and ProCore proficiency.We are considering both private and public sector project experience. Please note that this is a massive JV project, nearly $3 Billion, working with a major GC / CM, under a program manager and the DDC.Office Location: Lower ManhattanProject Location: Bronx (site office is several years out)Salary for both roles is still being worked out but our client is happy to see what the market has to offer. For now we are targeting candidates in the 150-200k range.
