Eittem (pronounced item) is an emerging, NYC-based luxury brand crafting sculptural wooden handbags in our private studio in Chelsea. The studio combines meticulous craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology to produce timeless, sculptural pieces that are both functional and beautiful. Eittem encompasses a singular vision, patient intention, and quiet excellence to create fine objects made to hold and be held.We are currently seeking a Director of Sales to lead all revenue activities reporting directly to the CEO. We are looking for an experienced luxury sales professional with a proven track record of success in accessories, ready-to-wear or fine jewelry and watches. You will lead our sales efforts and build out our relationships with key channel partners including select luxury retailers, stylists/personal shoppers, and concierge and luxury travel services. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to be an early employee at an innovative company with a unique take on materials, technology and craftsmanship at the intersection of the fine art and luxury fashion spaces.Website: Instagram: @eittem_nycResponsibilitiesChannel Partners: Identify and build strategic relationships to drive sales through stylists/personal shoppers, high end concierge services and luxury travel agents.Client engagementsource and direct outreach to prospective clients through pop-ups, activations, and private shopping events.Wholesale: Build strategic relationships with key luxury retailers in major US and European cities including NY, LA, Miami, London, Paris and Milan.In-Studio Selling: Develop luxury shopping experience for clients who visit in person at our appointment-only studio and suite.Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic plan with realistic sales targets across direct and retail channels.Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate sales activities with advertising efforts to maximize brand momentum.Qualifications10 years of relevant experienceProven track record of ability to execute sales goalsDirect experience selling to luxury retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Maxfield LA, The Webster, Harvey Nichols, 10 Corso Como, and Galeries LafayetteStrong knowledge of and interest in luxury, fashion, and fine artsExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel to key channel partners and clientsPrevious experience working at an emerging brand a plusBachelor's degree requiredCompensation: $100,000+ annual salary commensurate with experience with eligibility for bonuses and other incentive opportunitiesWe provide company-paid health insurance, including dental/vision.
