General Manager Manufacturing

Established, growing Bucks County, Pennsylvania-based contract manufacturing company is seeking a General Manager to join their team. Please note the General Manager is required to be onsite at our Bensalem location Monday through Friday. It is not a remote or hybrid position.The General Manager will:Provide leadership with a focus on strategic planning and goal-setting. Direct the operations of the company in support of its goals.Be an active member of the Executive Management team, functioning as one of the strategic advisors for the President.Be responsible for improving operational efficiency and maintaining profit margins according to established objectives.Ensure compliance with, and implementation of, approved policies and objectives.Maintain efficient team structure and performance through analytics, processes and tools.Maximize new client engagement, and work with the leadership team to develop plans to meet future needs.Manage the day-to-day programs and business operations.Establish metrics and goals to track performance and hold people accountable for results in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and productivity.This position oversees the functions of Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, Production Planning and Tooling, Engineering, and Safety.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or another business-related field)10 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of budgets and financial statementsBackground with manufacturing methods and process improvement programs and proceduresProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWe Offer:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package for you and your eligible dependentsMedical, Dental and Prescription plan coverage401(k) retirement savings planGenerous paid vacation and holidays
