This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair cable systems, including internet, television, and telephone services.Inspect and test cable systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to signal transmission, hardware, or connectivity.Handle cabling tasks, including splicing, terminating, and pulling cables.Provide clear guidance to customers on the proper use of installed systems.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.Adhere to safety standards and industry regulations at all times.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred (e.g., SCTE, BICSI).Proven experience as a cable technician or similar role.Strong understanding of cable systems, signal flow, and networking principles.Proficient in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 lbs].Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and utility poles.Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
